The Role: 

Reporting to the Material Sales Manager the Sales Officer is accountable for coordinating the sale and supply of material to external companies by delivering exceptional customer service in a manner that generates repeat and increased business, which in turn contributes to the success of Enerven.

A typical day will involve:

  • Managing customers orders, quotes, and requests
  • Stock management and sales
  • Problem solving to achieve best outcome for customers and Enerven
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Account management of key stakeholders
  • Generate and follow up on leads and opportunities, using personal networks in addition to supplied leads
  • Identify key stakeholders within SA Power Networks and Enerven and develop close working relationships to foster a culture of “cross-selling” and cooperation within the organisation

A bit about you:

  • Minimum 3 years experience working in sales with experience in B2B sales roles and account management
  • Electrical wholesaling, trades or building/construction industry experience highly regarded
  • You bring positive energy to the team and are highly motivated to become an expert in your field
  • Passionate about building strong working relationships with new and existing customers
  • Advanced interpersonal and negotiating skills
