The Role: 

Enerven is seeking an experienced Grid Connections Manager to oversee our National Electricity Market grid connection activities for utility scale renewable projects. This pivotal role reports directly to the Engineering Manager and holds accountability for the scope, program, budget, and commercial management of the delivery of R1 studies and R2 model validations testing.

This role has a high level of both technical and management responsibilities. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication and established relationships with AEMO & Transmission Network Service Providers and experience with power system modelling and support Harmonic Filter design scheduling and compliance, as well as contribute to client’s grid connection applications. This role will provide specialised engineering services and expert guidance on high-risk delivery projects, including substation, BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), and solar projects along with managing and mitigating connection risks associated with project deliveries, ensuring alignment with Enerven's growth strategy.

What you will need:

  • Previous experience as a Grid Connection Engineer or Grid Connection Manager (5 years)
  • PSCAD & PSSE experience
  • Current SA Drivers licence
  • Registered with Engineers Australia & RPEQ – desirable
