Enerven is excited to announce that we have been appointed by Fluence to design and construct a new grid scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) for AGL Energy at its Liddell Power station. This is Enerven’s second battery project for AGL and comes less than 12 months after securing the Eraring Battery project for Origin Energy.

We are now seeking to appoint an experienced site-based Civil Engineer to focus on design activities to that will pave a greener future!

The Role: 

Based at Muswellbrook, as our primary Civil Engineer will report directly to the Senior Project Manager and will be responsible for:

  • Providing on-site dedicated engineering support and interpreting designs for implementation;
  • Developing inspection and plans / checklists applicable to the project scope;
  • Understanding and updating engineering drawings in line with build progress;
  • Monitoring construction progress for adherence to program;
  • Utilising your financial management skills to reduce costs and meet project budgets;
  • Assisting commercial team with upstream and downstream claims; and
  • Liaising with Enerven Design Team and external consulting firms.

Now, let's talk about you – You’ll have a degree in Civil Engineering and Chartered Professional Engineer status (or the ability to obtain it), coupled with experience in bulk earthworks and civil infrastructure projects, preferably within the renewables or utilities sectors. In addition, strong communication skills, financial acumen and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels will set you apart as a valuable member of our project team.
