The Role: 

As Enerven experiences exciting growth in our team, we are seeking an experienced Project Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing financial aspects of our projects, ensuring accuracy and supporting decision-making processes. You will be responsible for a range of tasks including liaising with project managers, preparing forecast files, conducting reconciliations, cash-flow reporting, delivering day-to-day general accounting support, preparing management reports and identifying cost control opportunities.  

The Person 

The ideal candidate for the role of Project Accountant will be a skilled individual with a strong background in accounting, preferably within a project environment. You will possess excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle transactional work autonomously. While qualified accountants are preferred, we welcome applications from candidates with relevant experience and a proven track record of success. 

Key competencies: 

  • Proficiency in financial management practices and systems. 

  • Strong analytical skills to handle complex financial data. 

  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with project managers. 

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively. 

  • Experience in conducting reconciliations and ensuring financial accuracy. 

 

To be successful in this role, you will have: 

  • Exposure to large Enterprise Resource Planning tools 

  • Experience in the construction industry or with major projects  

  • Current drivers license 

  • The ability to do some out of hours work
