The Role (2-year contract) 

Our most significant project will commence in June and is of major strategic importance to Enerven as it enables us to continue to unlock the national renewables market with the design and installation of one of the largest Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in Australia.

Due to this we are seeking to appoint an experienced Quality Engineer with a strong quality background to support the delivery of the design and installation of this BESS at Liddell Power Station, Muswellbrook NSW. This role will be pivotal in implementing and managing Enerven’s safety first ethos to ensure all our people work safe, home safe, everyday.

Based at the Liddell Power Station in Muswellbrook, NSW, the Quality Engineer will be assigned to major construction projects across Enerven. This role is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of Project Quality Management are in place and that all deliverables are achieved. Developing status reporting of the project deliverables and compliance through live dashboard reports such as Power BI will be a key component. 

Day to Day activities include but not limited to:

    • Develop, agree and implement project process and procedures
    • Incoming goods inspection, recording and storing evidence and transmitting to interested parties.
    • Establish and maintain an audit program
    • Develop ITCs and ITPs and agreed content
    • Site daily progress and assist with the reporting.
    • Formal documented product audits after ITP sign off.
    • Raise, track and manage punch list items.
    • Review drawings for build accuracy
    • Client and contractor management

The Successful Candidate

The ideal candidate for this role will be experienced in the civil construction industry (degree qualified ) or relevant discipline experience. You will have experience in Quality Management within either the construction and maintenance or renewable industry.

Candidates will need to be prepared to undertake pre-employment screening including a medical and police check.  You will also need your current drivers licence and be required to undertake all required site inductions.
