The Role:

The core function of the CAD & Tech Officer will be to provide CAD & digital engineering support to the Engineering department, with a focus on improving the use of digital design data, digital processes, digital capabilities and systems across Enerven.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Active involvement with the implementation and management of design data, CAD systems, and process documentation to support business needs
  • Integrate new technologies to enhance team technical capabilities and enable innovative engineering solutions
  • Streamline workflows leveraging technology and data analysis to improve team productivity and utility
  • Train & provide technical guidance to the Engineering & CAD disciplines ensuring compliance with industry and company processes and standards
  • Engage in technical forums and coordinate CAD system testing and other IT matters.
  • Report on and identify opportunities to improve capabilities and efficiencies within the Engineering team and wider Enerven teams.
  • Support project delivery with design and drafting when required for the Engineering and CAD disciplines.

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience as a CAD Administrator or Engineering & Design Systems Coordinator
  • Proven ability to use, support and configure engineering and CAD systems.
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD systems (Autodesk AutoCAD, Civil3D, Bentley MicroStation) is highly desirable.
  • Diploma of Applied Technologies or equivalent level of skills and knowledge gained through experience.
  • Class C Drivers Licence.
  • May be required to travel Intra/interstate
  • May be required to work after hours on occasions
  • May be required to stay away overnight
