About the role

It’s an exciting time at Enerven. Our business is going from strength to strength, with a number of high profile, large-scale renewable energy projects secured across Australia. As the success and reputation of our business continues to grow, we are focussed on elevating our business support functions to ensure we set the business up for ongoing success.

Our Finance and Commercial team have recently restructured to take the level of support and business partnering they offer to the next level. This new position has been created to focus on providing finance business partner support for Business Overhead areas and offering general accounting assistance across the Finance Team.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide business partner support for Business Overhead areas – includes delivering month-end, budget and forecast processes
• Support with monthly analysis variance and query resolutions
• Support with ad hoc analysis across the Enerven Finance Team
• Conduct month-end general ledger processing (journals, prepayments, cost transfers and others)
• Preparing financial accounts reconciliations
• Assist in progressing process improvement initiatives across the department
• Contribute to the ongoing improvements of finance policies, processes, procedures and systems including participation in projects

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to develop new skills by providing support to the FP&A team as required.

This role will be offered in a 24mth Term Contract basis


About you

You will ideally have a few years professional experience post-graduation and be chomping at the bit to take your career to the next level. This is a unique opportunity to work as part of a dynamic and innovative Finance team where you will get exposure to broader Finance functions. You will be able to develop new skills beyond your day-to-day role, opening up multiple career progression opportunities with a rapidly growing business.

Specific qualifications and experience required include:

• A Degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance, or similar discipline
• Some experience in a Graduate Accountant, Assistant Accountant, Audit Associate or Junior Finance Analyst role, or similar
• A strong desire to join a growing business as part of a dynamic, fast-paced and innovative team
