About the role
We are looking to hire an experienced Junior Project Manager on a 24-month contract to oversee the delivery of telecommunication construction projects across Western Australia. This role will report directly to the Project Manager.
The Junior Project Manager will be responsible for the practical delivery of Enerven Telecommunications work packages; liaison and management of internal and external stakeholders; reporting on the progress of multiple projects; scoping; delivering to agreed
timeframes; administrative coordination and quality at maximised profit.
This role requires strong attention to detail working collaboratively with customers and across the Enerven business.
Day to day you will:
- Promote and facilitate workforce initiatives that contribute to the effectiveness of the organisation.
- Maintain open and effective communication with all key stakeholders
- Develop effective working relationships with support staff and liaise and negotiate with internal stakeholders
- Responsible for the overall delivery and maintenance of the project program;
- Responsible for providing management reporting for the progress of projects;
- Contribute to development and review of Project Risk Assessments
- Contribute to development of Project Management Plans
- Forecasting and reporting on expenditure on approved projects;
- Negotiate with and manage clients
- Manage service providers (subcontractors) working on project
- Provide input into estimates
Specific qualifications and experience required include:
- Relevant experience in a similar position within civil/ telecommunications project
- Diploma in Frontline Management or equivalent level of skills or knowledge gained through experience
- Diploma or certification in Project Management
- Current drivers’ license
- Travel intrastate, interstate or internationally
- Out of hours work may be required
