About the role
Enerven is now seeking to appoint an experienced Civil Construction Supervisor to oversee the detailed civil works for various electrical infrastructure projects. Projects will be spread across metro and regional South Australia, and will include a mix of Substation, Lines Work and Renewable projects.
Reporting to our Construction Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of all work groups that are required for the overall successful completion of site-based civil construction activities in a safe, efficient, timely and cost-effective manner. You will also provide site leadership and coordinate all aspects of planning and scheduling works including the coordination of external civil contractors.
This role is based at Direk, however, approx. 60-80% of the year will be spent working away from Adelaide on project construction sites. The most common roster is 11:3 roster working 10hr days (over time at double time and travel allowances apply), but rosters will sometimes vary depending on the requirements of different projects.
About you
In addition to your strong Civil Construction background, you will also have experience in delivering major civil work including Design and Construct Contract Works, Substation Construction and High Voltage installation civil works, bulk earthworks, detailed civil construction including concrete foundations and electrical conduits, extensive planning, scheduling and forecasting skills.
You will be an exceptional communicator on all levels, able to lead and deliver a team with a strong focus on safety, quality, client delivery and project execution. Naturally a problem solver and a practical thinker, experience in renewable projects and associated civil aspects will see you become a front runner for this role.
Your attention to detail, accuracy in record keeping, and skill in interpretating detailed civil drawings will be key to your success in the role.
