About the role
As a Business Support Officer, you'll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly by providing high-quality administrative support across the Substation Maintenance and the Technical Delivery Unit (TDU) teams.
You'll be the first point of contact for many day-to-day enquiries, ensuring information, records and business processes are managed accurately and efficiently.
In this role you will:
- Provide administrative support to operational teams across the business
- Prepare reports, maintain records and manage electronic and hard copy filing
- Coordinate training bookings and maintain compliance records
- Process timesheets, allowances and payroll-related data accurately
- Raise purchase orders and coordinate the ordering of goods and services
- Support employees, leaders and external stakeholders with day-to-day enquiries and administration
About you
You're an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys supporting busy teams and delivering excellent customer service. You have strong attention to detail, can manage competing priorities and take pride in ensuring work is completed accurately and on time.
You will bring:
- Previous experience in an administrative or business support role, ideally in an Operations or Project environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and business systems such as SAP
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build positive working relationships
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement
- A current driver's license
