About the role
Enerven is expanding its national footprint in NSW, playing a key role in bringing large-scale solar, wind and battery projects online to support Australia’s clean energy transition. Our appointment to TransGrid’s Construction Services Panel Agreement (CSPA) reflects our proven capability to safely deliver high-voltage infrastructure projects up to 500kV — including transmission line upgrades, substation construction, and full design-and-construct solutions.
Our NSW Delivery team is responsible for delivering critical electrical infrastructure projects across the state. We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager with a strong background in substation or heavy industrial electrical construction to join the team.
In this role, you will lead the planning and delivery of complex projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will provide strong on-site leadership, coordinating crews, subcontractors, and resources while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and performance.
Key responsibilities will include:
-
leading the planning and delivery of allocated projects from start to finish
-
driving WHS, environmental and quality compliance across teams and subcontractors
-
providing clear leadership, direction and supervision to construction crews
-
managing project budgets, schedules and resource allocation
-
building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships
-
monitoring and improving project performance across productivity, cost, quality and compliance.
This role involves working on project sites across NSW. Rosters vary depending on project requirements, with a typical roster of 11 days on / 3 days off, 10-hour days, plus overtime and travel allowances. As Construction Manager, you will be required to be on-site to effectively lead project delivery.
About you
You’re a seasoned HV electrical construction leader with hands-on experience delivering complex substation projects end-to-end. You’re confident leading projects in high-risk environments and bring a strong focus on safety, quality, and commercial outcomes.
You will bring:
-
Proven leadership experience in substation construction, including installation of high-voltage equipment and systems
-
Experience delivering projects for Transgrid (highly regarded)
-
Electrical Trade Certificate
-
Current NSW Electrical Workers Licence (or ability to obtain via mutual recognition)
-
