About the role
It’s an exciting time at Enerven. Our business is going from strength to strength, with several high-profile, large-scale renewable energy projects secured across Australia. As the success and reputation of our business continues to grow, we are focussed on elevating our finance function to ensure we set the business up for ongoing success.
As the leader of the FP&A function, reporting to the Finance Manager, you will provide strategic financial insights and coordinate key planning and reporting processes across the Finance Team. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders across the business and influence decision-making to optimise performance.
You will adopt an enterprise-wide perspective on delivering financial and business performance analysis, planning, reporting, and financial modelling. Your goal will be to add value, drive actionable insights, and appropriately challenge the business to improve outcomes.
Additionally, you will lead the Enerven budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes and oversee the provision of reporting for the CEO and the executive team. You will be the key interface with Corporate Finance and will work closely with the SA Power Network Financial Planning and Analysis team to share best practice and leverage tools and models across the businesses.
Day to day you will:
• Deliver high-quality reporting, analytics, and commentary to guide decision-making and drive performance
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to manage their requirements for new management reporting and financial modelling
• Continuously improve processes and systems for optimal outcomes
• Provide advanced financial analytics for the Senior Leadership Team and CFO
• Lead and manage a team, fostering collaboration and high performance

Specific qualifications and experience required include:
• Degree in Finance, Commerce or Accounting or related field.
• Professional Accounting Qualification (CA/CPA).
• Significant and demonstrable experience in a results-based environment with clear examples of driving business outcomes through financial and commercial insight.
• Experience in building, managing, and upskilling small teams and delivering improved performance through results
• Experience in working with and influencing senior management across a broad range of disciplines.
