We're Hiring!
Data Analyst
- 509832
- Hindmarsh (Station Place), SA, Australia, 5007
- Full time (7.5 hrs)
About the role
As a Data Analyst at Enerven, you'll take ownership of data from the point it arrives, whether via APIs, databases, or spreadsheets, through to cleaning, standardising, and modelling it in our data warehouse (Azure, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric). You'll build and maintain the Power BI dashboards the business relies on, troubleshoot data issues at the source, and optimise reporting for performance across the enterprise. Just as important is the translation work: turning complex datasets into clear findings and practical recommendations that help stakeholders in our energy infrastructure projects make better decisions. You'll have genuine input into how we manage data, including shaping our data strategies and frameworks as we scale. This position is being offered on an 18-month term and will be based at the Enerven office in Hindmarsh.
Day to day you will:
- Developing shared datasets, data assets and reporting solutions.
- Improving data quality, consistency and trust in business information.
- Integrating data from multiple systems and sources.
- Defining and standardising business metrics and reporting logic.
- Automating manual reporting and data preparation activities.
- Supporting the adoption of modern data and analytics platforms, including Microsoft Fabric.
About you
You bring around three to five years' experience in data analysis or a related field, with strong foundations in data modelling, integration and data management. You're ready to broaden your skills across analytics, reporting and stakeholder engagement, and you'll get real satisfaction from building shared data assets, improving data quality and helping shape how the business makes better use of its data.
Specific qualifications and experience required include:
- Strong SQL, data modelling and data integration skills.
- Experience working with data from multiple business systems.
- Experience building reusable datasets and semantic models.
- Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
- Experience identifying and resolving data quality issues.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering skills.
- An interest in translating business requirements into scalable analytical solutions.
