About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced operational leader to lead Enerven’s Olympic Dam operations based in Roxby Downs, South Australia. Supporting major customers including BHP, you’ll be responsible for leading frontline teams delivering maintenance, projects and operational works across critical electrical infrastructure in one of Australia’s most significant mining regions. This is far more than a traditional depot leadership role. You’ll oversee people, safety, operational delivery, customer relationships and commercial outcomes while leading a high-performing regional operation supporting multiple mining, industrial and remote infrastructure customers.
As investment across South Australia’s Copper Province continues to accelerate, this role provides the opportunity to play a key leadership role in projects shaping the future of the region while building your own leadership career.
Relocation support, temporary accommodation assistance and significant additional location-based allowances are available for successful interstate or intrastate applicants.
Day-to-day you will:
- Lead safe and efficient operational delivery across the Olympic Dam region
- Lead, coach and develop frontline operational teams
- Coordinate maintenance, projects and operational work programs
- Build strong customer and stakeholder relationships
- Drive safety, performance and continuous improvement
- Manage workforce planning, scheduling and operational resources
- Support commercial performance and customer outcomes
- Foster a positive, collaborative and high performing team culture
About You
You’re an experienced operational leader who enjoys leading people, solving complex operational challenges and building strong customer relationships. Whether your background is in utilities, mining, heavy industry, infrastructure or another operational environment, you’ll bring the leadership capability to successfully lead a regional operation and support high-performing teams.
To be successful you will have:
- Demonstrated experienced leading frontline operational or field-based teams
- Experience delivering operational, maintenance or project work in complex environments
- Strong customer and stakeholder management skills
- Proven safety leadership and operational decision-making capability
- Commercial awareness and experience managing operational performance
- A current unrestricted driver’s licence
- Experience within electrical infrastructure, utilities, mining or heavy industry will be highly regarded
