About the role
Enerven brings 15 years of proven expertise delivering large-scale NBN infrastructure projects, and now we're looking for a driven and organised Project Support Officer to join our team on a 14 month contract basis (parental leave cover).
You will be supporting the delivery of critical NBN construction projects, and as part of a tight-knit team you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy construction site. Working directly with the Lead Project Manager, you’ll support all stages of the project lifecycle, from planning to execution, while managing a wide range of administrative and coordination tasks.
Duties include:

- Support accurate record keeping ensuring compliance to operating standards and requirements
- Support Project Managers with Purchase Orders, invoicing, payments, and retention processes
- Manage land access components, including notifications to councils and cultural heritage awareness
- Manage site access procedures
- Support procurement processes as required
- Act as Project team interface to key stakeholders, as directed by the Project Manager
- Collate and publish project documents and weekly/monthly project reports
- Plan and manage all travel arrangements and approvals (short & long term) for the site team
- Organise, distribute and manage all Personal Protective Equipment
Core hours will be Monday - Friday but with some flexibility for overtime. This role also offers the chance to visit field sites and engage directly with contractors and other staff but will predominantly be based at our Marleston office working closely with the project team.
About you
You’ll be the team’s communication hub - confidently liaising with contractors, project managers, and internal teams. Strong organisation, a proactive attitude, and experience in telecommunications or construction are essential.
Specific qualifications and experience required include:
- Solid experience in similar roles in project driven environments
- A Current Driver’s License is essential
- Certificate IV in Business (or similar) is desirable, but not essential for candidates who can demonstrate equivalent skills and experience.
