The expertise and dedication of our people spans the entire electricity network, so careers at Enerven are defined by meaningful contributions and impactful work.
At Enerven, we’re connecting you with tomorrow.
About the role
This role sits within our People &Culture team and partners closely with operational leaders, project teams and training stakeholders across the business. As Training Compliance Lead, you will drive Enerven's training governance, compliance and workforce capability, ensuring our people have the skills, competencies and systems required to safely deliver critical energy infrastructure projects.
As Enerven continues to grow nationally, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of learning and workforce capability. You'll strengthen training governance, compliance and capability frameworks while driving continuous improvement across our learning systems, ensuring they remain scalable, fit for purpose and aligned to the future needs of the business.
Day to day you will:
- Lead the governance, compliance and continuous improvement of Enerven's training frameworks, competency management and learning systems.
- Partner with leaders across the business to ensure our workforce remains capable, compliant and ready to deliver critical infrastructure projects safely and effectively.
- Identify workforce capability and skill gaps through training needs analysis, implementing practical learning solutions that support operational performance and future capability.
- Influence the future of learning at Enerven by supporting the evolution of our Learning Management System and scalable training frameworks.
- Partner with leaders to drive accountability for training compliance, influence corrective actions and embed a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
About you
You are an experienced training and capability professional who understands that effective learning is about much more than delivering training. You understand how governance, compliance, capability frameworks and learning systems come together to build a safe, capable and high-performing workforce.
You enjoy partnering with operational leaders, influencing outcomes without direct authority and balancing day-to-day operational priorities with strategic improvement initiatives. You're naturally curious, analytical and solutions focused, with a passion for improving systems, simplifying complexity and delivering practical outcomes that support both operational performance and long-term business capability.
You'll be comfortable working across a diverse stakeholder group, building trusted relationships while helping leaders understand training obligations, workforce capability risks and opportunities for improvement.
Specific qualifications and experience required include:
- Demonstrated experience leading training, learning, capability or compliance functions within a complex, operational or highly regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of training governance, competency frameworks, compliance requirements, audit processes and Learning Management Systems.
- Proven ability to identify capability gaps, influence stakeholders and drive practical learning solutions that improve workforce capability and training compliance.
- Experience analysing workforce capability, training compliance and performance data to drive continuous improvement and support strategic decision-making.
- Diploma in Training and Assessment (or equivalent experience) and a current South Australian Driver's Licence
