Our teams deliver real outcomes across transmission, distribution and major project environments, combining deep technical capability with a strong safety culture and a people-first approach.

Why choose Enerven?

Enerven is at the forefront of building the infrastructure needed for Australia’s energy future. As a graduate, you’ll gain hands-on experience working with emerging technologies and evolving electricity networks, all while contributing to work that has a lasting impact.

Our Graduates don’t sit on the sidelines - from day one, you’ll be embedded in project teams delivering real outcomes. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, develop in-demand technical capability, and build the foundations required to progress toward Chartered Engineer status.

As an Enerven graduate, you’ll gain exposure to a range of engineering and project environments, including:

  • Substation design and construction
  • Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
  • Transmission and distribution infrastructure
  • On-site project engineering and commissioning
  • Working within multi-disciplinary engineering teams

And you’ll benefit from:

  • Real project experience on major energy infrastructure projects
  • Hands-on learning with mentoring from experienced engineers and technical specialists
  • Exposure to complex renewable and infrastructure projects
  • A structured graduate program focused on technical and professional development
  • Supportive teams, accessible leaders and a strong safety culture
  • A clear pathway into a permanent role aligned to your interests

About the Graduate Program

Registrations of interest are now open for our 2027 Graduate Program.

Our two-year graduate program is purpose-built to develop the practical skills and technical capability needed to succeed in a fast-paced project delivery environment. Your hands-on, real-life project delivery experience will be complemented by our structured Graduate Training Program, including access to industry-recognised courses through Engineers Australia.

This isn’t just a graduate program - it’s the foundation of a long-term career with Enerven. Through rotations, you’ll build a broad understanding of how projects are delivered before stepping into a permanent role that matches your strengths and interests.

Potential career pathways include:

  • Electrical Engineering – design substations and high-voltage equipment that power the network
  • Protection Systems Engineering – develop protection schemes that keep the grid safe and stable
  • Automation and SCADA Engineering – deliver control and monitoring systems for real-time network operations
  • Civil Engineering – design sites, foundations and infrastructure for major energy projects
  • Structural Engineering – Substation and Electrical Infrastructure – design structural systems that support critical energy assets
  • Structural Engineering – Transmission Lines – design overhead line structures that connect the grid

Graduate roles may be offered in either Adelaide and Sydney locations.

Formal recruitment activity is expected to commence in May 2026.
