About the role
This role is being offered on a full-time basis for a fixed term of 18 months. It is located in Marleston South and is responsible for designing and delivering complete lighting solutions for clients such as SA Power Networks, developers, and local councils. This includes creating detailed electrical and lighting designs following safety regulations and company standards, ensuring the designs are practical, consistently high-quality, and easy to construct.
The role is a balance of technical electrical design expertise, project management, and client relationship building ensuring the delivery of high-quality lighting solutions on time and in budget.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design safe, efficient lighting and electrical systems that meet technical standards
- Project management; from quoting and budgeting to final delivery
- Liaise with clients and other professionals to ensure smooth project delivery
- Use of technical tools such as CAD to produce detailed electrical designs
- Travel for on site visits and meetings as required
About you
To be successful in this role you will have an electrical engineering or design background with solid proficiency in CAD and understanding of AS3000. As this is an experienced and established team, Enerven can provide specific design training for the right candidate.
Other skills and experience required include:
- Diploma in Engineering, or equivalent qualification
- Current class C driver’s licence
- Knowledge of AS / NZS 1158 and AS 3000 standards
- Experience in lighting and / or electrical reticulation design (desired)
