About the role
This is a newly created role reporting to the CAD and Digital Engineering Manager, providing technical leadership for Revit modelling across engineering projects. The position leads the development and continuous improvement of Revit methodologies, templates, content libraries and reusable workflows. Hands-on technical leadership is provided for complex model setup, coordination, quality and multidisciplinary delivery. The role also coaches and supports Revit users, strengthening technical capability and promoting consistent modelling practices across the team. Working closely with engineers, designers and the Digital Engineering team, the role improves workflows and supports the effective use of Revit across projects.
Day to day you will:
- Lead the development and application of Revit modelling methodologies, templates and workflows across major engineering projects
- Provide technical leadership for complex Revit model setup, coordination, management and quality across multidisciplinary project teams
- Develop and maintain Revit families, assemblies, libraries and reusable modelling content aligned with engineering requirements and project delivery needs
- Be the go-to technical specialist for Revit, supporting engineers and designers with advanced modelling, troubleshooting and workflow optimisation
- Coach and mentor Revit users, build technical capability and encourage consistent, quality focused modelling practices
- Support the integration of Revit models into broader BIM and digital engineering processes for coordination, construction, handover and operations
- Support model and deliverable compliance with project requirements, internal procedures and applicable engineering and modelling requirements
- Identify and champion smarter ways of working in Revit, including automation, scripts and improved workflows that reduce rework and lift productivity
About you
This role suits a senior Revit or BIM specialist with experience providing technical leadership across complex multidisciplinary projects. You will be comfortable making technical modelling decisions, guiding others and working collaboratively with engineers, designers and project teams. You will fit Enerven well if you are practical, collaborative and approachable. Someone who enjoys improving workflows, sharing knowledge and building capability in others while remaining hands-on with models and content, is likely to be a strong fit.
Essential skills and knowledge include:
- Advanced Diploma in drafting, Digital Engineering, BIM, or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through experience
- Significant experience in Revit modelling, digital engineering, or BIM related environments
- Demonstrated experience developing Revit methodologies, templates, families, and reusable modelling content
- Experience supporting multidisciplinary engineering or infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical guidance, mentoring and practical support for Revit users
- Strong understanding of model coordination, quality assurance and digital engineering workflows
