Enerven delivers electrical infrastructure and telecommunications solutions that are vital to connecting communities across Australia. Our design, construction, and maintenance services ensure reliable power generation, transmission, and distribution to homes and businesses nationwide – and our commitment to renewable energy and resilient grid infrastructure sets us apart.
The expertise and dedication of our people spans the entire electricity network, so careers at Enerven are defined by meaningful contributions and impactful work.
At Enerven, we’re connecting you with tomorrow.
About the role
Enerven’s expertise in Renewable Energy Grid Connections is driving our success in NSW and accelerating the growth of our national footprint. We play a key role in bringing large-scale solar, wind and battery projects online to support Australia’s clean energy transition.
Our appointment to Transgrid’s Construction Services Panel Agreement (CSPA) recognises our ability to safely deliver high-voltage infrastructure solutions up to 500kV - spanning transmission line upgrades, substation construction, and design and construct projects.
As a WHS Advisor, you’ll join a collaborative national team to provide safety support across multiple Transgrid projects in Northern NSW. You’ll use your expertise to partner with project delivery teams to:
- Ensure Compliance: Align with legislation, industry standards, and internal policies.
- Mitigate Risk: Identify and manage safety risks to protect our workforce and the community.
- Support Project Success: Help teams deliver safely, on time, and on budget, safeguarding reputation and client relationships.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Promote best practices in safety culture and environmental stewardship across all project phases.
This isn’t a 9–5 desk role. You’ll spend most of your time on-site, providing hands-on support to delivery teams. Travel is regular—from day trips to 4–5 nights at a time (we provide a vehicle and pay travel time).
You will have the autonomy to manage your own time and workload while benefiting from the backing and expertise of an established and respected National WHS team.
About you
You are:
- a seasoned WHS professional who has built a career in civil, mining or heavy industry
- most at home in work boots and hi-vis, thriving in hands-on, site-based environments
- equally comfortable engaging with tradies and contractors as you are senior leaders and clients
- driven, self-motivated and looking for a role that offers autonomy and career growth opportunities
