About the role
This full time, permanent role reports to the Bid and Estimating Manager and is flexible to be based in either Adelaide or Sydney. The role leads and coordinates end-to-end bid delivery for complex, high-value infrastructure projects across energy, renewables and telecoms; owning the bid strategy, and driving clear, compelling submissions that position the business as the preferred partner for clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to capture requirements and uncover new opportunities
- Develop and sign off on technical and commercial solutions, including concept designs, risk-loaded estimates, and returnable schedules
- Ensure accurate, audit-ready bid documentation, timeline control, and smooth handover to project teams on successful tenders
- Drive continuous improvement in bid systems, templates, and processes to increase efficiency and win-rate
- Act as a central point of contact for clients during the bid phase and beyond, supporting negotiation and port-bid contract refinement
About you
As an experienced bid / proposal manager from an energy, utilities, infrastructure, or heavy-industry EPC environment you will have a strong technical and commercial understanding of electrical networks, high-voltage, infrastructure, renewables, and / or BESS projects.
Other skills and experience include:
- Estimating and cost-modelling capability
- Leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to craft clear, persuasive, and compliant tender submissions
- Strong project management skills
- Experience with internal bid databases and CRM-style tools
