About the role
This full time, permanent role reporting to the Planning Manager is flexible to be based in either Adelaide or Sydney. The focus of this role is to provide planning, master scheduling, resource loading, earnt value analysis and reporting required for the delivery of large-scale, national energy, power, and renewables projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and manage detailed project plans and schedules on critical projects
- Subcontractor program management including schedule integration and controls
- Schedule delay review and analysis
- Critical path and slippage analysis and reporting
- Support Earned Value Assessments and risk reviews and analysis
About you
As an experienced senior planning professional, you will be a strategically minded individual with strong analytical and communication skills who brings an ability to coordinate complex project schedules and promote seamless collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Experience and understanding of engineering and construction in the power and renewables sector including substations, transmission lines or battery storage systems (BESS), is not essential, but highly regarded.
Other knowledge and skills include:
- A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction, or Project Management
- Minimum 6-8 years of planning experience gained in Energy, Resources, Infrastructure, or Utilities
- Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Project
- Prior experience working on the contractor-side of projects
