About the role
Join our Delivery team and contribute to a major defence infrastructure project supporting Australia’s future submarine capability. The project will deliver critical transmission infrastructure, including a new 275 kV substation, expansion of the existing substation, underground and overhead transmission connections, and the testing and commissioning of critical high-voltage assets.
As the Construction Site Administrator, you’ll play a key role in keeping the project running smoothly, providing essential administrative support across the site. Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Supervisors and corporate support teams, you’ll coordinate documentation, logistics and day-to-day site administration to support the successful delivery of this high-profile project.
Day to day you will:
- Coordinate project documentation, reporting and record management
- Manage site administration, access requirements and stakeholder communications
- Arrange travel, accommodation and site logistics for project teams
- Support procurement activities and coordinate site resources and PPE
- Maintain project data and provide administrative support to keep construction moving efficiently
This role will be offered as a 12mth Term Contract.
About you
You're a highly organised administrator who thrives in a varied and fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly. You enjoy supporting teams, solving problems and keeping everything on track behind the scenes.
You'll also bring:
- Experience supporting construction, engineering or project teams in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Naturally organised and able to stay one step ahead while managing multiple priorities
- A keen eye for detail and pride in producing accurate, high-quality work
- Comfortable using a range of systems to keep projects organised and on track
- A team player who communicates confidently and builds strong working relationships
- Proactive, adaptable and happy to roll up your sleeves to support the team
- A Certificate III in Business would be an advantage
- A current driver's license is essential
