About the role

Enerven’s HV Test Services Team conduct High Voltage Testing on overhead and underground transmission & distribution systems and substations. They work on maintenance, commissioning, and operation of HV equipment for ElectraNet, as well as a variety of other Technical Delivery Unit and external customers projects.

Day to day you will:

• Conduct High Voltage Testing of substation equipment
• Read and interpret electrical drawings
• Conduct maintenance of High Voltage substation equipment
• Support Delivery crews in the construction of High Voltage substation equipment
  
  

You will be based out of Enerven’s Marleston North depot, but will have the opportunity to work on local, intrastate and interstate projects. You will spend approx. 60% of the year working away from Adelaide, and rosters will vary depending on individual project requirements.


About you

You are a solid team player with excellent communication skills and a positive approach to work. You embrace the opportunity to learn new skills and can readily adapt to changes in standards, systems, and technologies.

Essential requirements include:

• Electrical Trade Certificate & SA Electrical Workers Registration
• Solid experience in HV testing and/or Substation Maintenance activities, including installation of High Voltage equipment and systems
• Current SA drivers’ licence (HR licence beneficial)
• An ElectraNet Cat2 Switching Licence is HIGHLY REGARDED, but NOT essential – however you must be willing to obtain (fully funded by Enerven)
